A 120 m2 exhibition on the life of Madeleine Carroll will run from February 20th until June 11th 2006. It will be located in the Museo del Cine (Museum of Cine) in Girona, northern Spain. The exhibition will attract large numbers of people who are not even aware that Madeleine lived in the area, and indeed is buried very close by, in Calonje. Half the space will be dedicated to Madeleine’s involvement with the Red Cross during WWII, with many articles of interest including letters, telegrams, honours, and her movies being played in the background. It will be full of interest even for someone who might know little about her life. I will be publishing photos of the opening shortly..
